Challenge

Our client was pursuing fundraising and partnership-building efforts in the US, but he was being plagued by a smear campaign that his competition, the former state monopoly in his home country, was executing against him in an attempt to derail his venture.

Campaign & Results

We found all the attack content against our client and buried it in the search results under existing and newly-created positive and neutral content, and constantly monitored for new attacks so they could be immediately countered and buried. Over time, it became clear to the attackers that their attempts were having no significant impact and they abandoned the smear campaign.

Mark Harrison

Mark Harrison is a Founding Partner and serves currently as CEO of AH Global. Trained as a diplomat, Mark has worked with UNHCR, the IMF, and the World Bank Group. He brings to the company a unique history of professional experience, blending technology, education, business, and international affairs.

Mark has worked as a political functionary, technologist, and journalist in the US, Europe, Thailand, Israel, Tanzania, and Guatemala. Mark has served as CTO and Technical Counsel to a companies ranging from Fortune 500′s to start-ups, and has guided projects across the globe.

Mark is an avid world traveler and has both lived and worked in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America and speaks English, German, French, Swahili, and Spanish.

He currently splits his time between Berlin and Fort Lauderdale.

Raman Frey

Raman Frey is a partner here at AH Global, focusing much of his time on building our roster of influencers and connecting them with corporate clients.

Raman is a serial entrepreneur, event producer, public speaker, moderator and interviewer and has served on the boards of a variety of organizations.

Raman was a founding partner of The Bureau, a benefit corporation, advisory and startup accelerator operating at the intersection of blockchain technologies and ESG (environmental, social and governance) impact. The Bureau is currently developing and will soon deploy Dispatch, an enterprise ready blockchain protocol, reverse compatible with Ethereum.

He currently serves as an active advisor to RootProject, a new crowdfunding platform that applies blockchain to the crowdfunding needs of non-profits.  RootProject is designed to free these organizations from the time consuming demands of traditional fundraising.
